EDITORIAL NOTE
Why Amateur? Why, in an age where adult entertainment in all its forms (video,
magazine, telephone, escort or live theatre) flourishes abundantly, and where
television soap operas marketability to it's audience definitely swings with a
sexual flair also explodes. Sex sells. In almost every aspect of mass communications,
people are attracted to and react to images, smells, touch which affects their

Amateur erotica exploded upon us just when the X-Rated video indusrty, wallowing
in a pool of boredom thought it had seen everything. The Amateur video cameraman
took the "next door neighbor" theory that has been used to death in
pro-porn, and refreshed our outlook upon it. The people in Amateur are not mechanical,
non-feeling, fake-breasted, non-orgasmic nor fluffed & primped prima donnas

or art directors . They do not have much in the way of a script and the women
certainly are not hard looking nor appear bored while getting it on. These are

Reviewing Amateur tapes can be extremely boring or an enjoyable experience. It
