Hi Guys! Well this summer weather is great but, unfortunately, one of the drawbacks
is that all those hot-weather bugs make a real old mess of your car. So, last
Saturday, I set out - bucket in hand - to give the old jalopy a good scrubbings.
Mind you, it's not as easy a those automatic car wash machines make out, and pretty soon I was soaked through with more water on me than on the car! Still, the cool water on my warm skin felt good and I started paying more attention to my own bodywork with the soapy sponge, working myself up into a right old lather.
In the end I gave up and just tipped the bucket over my now naked self, and it
was only then that I noticed my next door neighbour watching appreciatively from
his potting shed window!
I'm not sure what he was doing with his dibber but it brought a whole new meaning to 'pricking out' and his prize cucumber sure looked a beauty! Anyway... enjoy the rest of this wonderful issue and I'll see you again next month. Bye.
